We are Faris and Aaliyah, brother and sister Arsenal supporters. In fact, our whole family support Arsenal, our dad, younger brother and our mum who is a recent recruit. Our cousin is a Gooner too.
We have established this to ensure that Muslim supporters of Arsenal Football club have an independent voice and are a recognised part of Arsenal’s global fan network. In due course we hope to have meet ups in London too.
Please join us regardless of where you are in the world.
Our Vision
We envision an Arsenal where Muslim supporters feel empowered to fully participate in matchday experiences, where diversity is embraced, and where football continues to unite people beyond cultural and religious differences. Through Arsenal Muslims, we aim to build a lasting legacy of inclusion, passion, and community—one that reflects the very best of Arsenal Football Club.
Our Mission
Our mission is to unite Arsenal fans from various backgrounds under a shared passion for football, community, and faith. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming space where Muslim supporters can connect, celebrate their identity, and support Arsenal with pride.
Values & Commitments
1. Unity and Inclusivity
While we are a Muslim supporters’ group, we welcome fans of all backgrounds to join us in supporting Arsenal. We envision a fanbase where diversity is celebrated, and football serves as a bridge for connection and mutual respect.
2. Faith and Football
We believe football and faith can go hand in hand. Muslim Gooners provides a space for fans to embrace their identity and respect Islamic values while supporting Arsenal.
3. Community and Social Impact
Inspired by Arsenal’s long-standing commitment to its local community, we want to contribute to support local causes, using football’s power to drive positive change.
4. Diversity and Representation
Football is for everyone. We actively promote inclusivity within Arsenal’s fanbase, ensuring that all Muslim fans—men and women—feel valued. We want to increase the Muslim fanbase of Arsenal including the women’s team and especially encourage more Muslim women to attend games at the Emirates.
5. A Platform for Connection
Muslim Gooners is more than just a supporters’ club—it’s a community. We aim to create matchday gatherings, online forums, and social events, bringing Muslim Arsenal fans together, providing a space where football, culture, and faith intersect.
6. Advocacy and Engagement
As the voice of Muslim Arsenal fans, we desire to work with the club on engagement with the local Muslim community and wider Muslim Arsenal fanbase. We will also look towards engaging with other supporters clubs. We also believe it’s imperative to collaborate with Arsenal to combat against discrimination to foster greater understanding and camaraderie.
7. Celebrate Arsenal Muslim Heritage and Support
We want to champion Arsenal’s large Muslim fanbase across the UK and around the world and celebrate players of Muslim heritage in Arsenal’s history who have put on the famous red and white shirt.
